BRANCH ANNOUNCES RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN

Branch seeks 4th Term in Texas House

 

DALLAS—Representative Dan Branch (R-Dallas) today announced on his web site, www.danbranch.com, that he will seek re-election to the Texas House of Representatives for District 108 (Downtown, Uptown, Near North and East Dallas, Park Cities).  Rep. Branch will be running for his fourth term in the Texas House.

The newly formed "Friends of the PCRW" invited Rep. Branch to address the members at the home of Margaret and Lester Keliher.

The Branch family made a visit to Vickery Towers senior residences the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to share some holiday spirit. The Branches also brought freshly baked pumpkin pies to share with the residents.

Rep. Branch served as the honorary guest at the 2nd annual Uptown Dallas Association's "Uptown Lights" event. Branch served as the master of ceremonies by giving a holiday address at the Post Worthington Apartments to around 100 members of the Uptown community, and then counting down to the lighting of the tree.

Rep. Dan Branch served as honorary team captain for the SMU Mustangs as they hosted the University of Central Florida in their last home game of the 2007 season.

Rep. Branch spent the afternoon at the downtown clinic to chat with the doctors and patients administering and receiving dialysis treatment. DaVita Downtown Dallas has been serving the city for little over a year.

Rep. Branch helped to induct and honor the newly elected student council and student representatives at Spence.

Rep. Dan Branch visited Stonewall Jackson Elementary in Near East Dallas. The Representative helped lead the morning announcements, the pledges of allegiance and the minute of silence. Afterwards, he visited with Principal Olivia Henderson, and various teachers and students hard at work.

Rep. Branch visited with members of the Baylor Health Care System at the Health Care provider's main facility located in East Dallas. The representative had a chance to visit with Baylor leadership, including Joel Allison, President and CEO of Baylor; Judge Ed Kinkeade, member of the Baylor Board of Trustees; Kristi Sherrill-Hoyl, VP of Government Affairs; and Dighton Packard, M.D., Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine.
