Dallas member will serve third term as Public Education Budget Chair
 
AUSTIN, Texas—Earlier today, Texas House Speaker Tom Craddick (R-Midland) re-appointed Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) to the House Appropriations Committee and Chairman of Budget and Oversight (CBO) of the Public Education Committee. Branch was also appointed to the powerful House Calendars Committee, which sets the daily list of bills for debate on the House floor.
