AUSTIN, Texas—Today, Speaker Tom Craddick (R-Midland) tapped Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) to chair the House Select Committee on Higher and Public Education Finance. The committee will work to improve college and workforce readiness by coordinating public and higher education finance policy.
